Getting Healthy After Kids
Because Feeling Your Best Is Worth It
Becoming a mom changes everything—your body, your energy levels, your priorities. Suddenly, the focus shifts from taking care of yourself to taking care of your little humans. And while that’s beautiful, it’s also exhausting. I know because I’ve been there.
After having my kids, I struggled with weight gain, fatigue, stress, and a body that no longer felt like my own. Add in a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis and low testosterone levels, and I realized that getting healthy wasn’t just about losing weight—it was about regaining my energy, balance, and strength.
This page is where I share my real, unfiltered journey—the wins, the struggles, and what’s actually helped me feel like me again.

What’s Worked for Me (And Might Work for You!)
After a lot of trial and error, I’ve found certain habits, supplements, and tools that have made a huge difference in how I feel. These are things I personally use and love:
Berberine - I use this to help with my Type 2 Diabetes in combination with my Metformin. Berberine can also help those with high levels of cholesterol, and high blood pressure.
TruAdapt - Is used to help with adrenal function - stress, fatigue, and immune function. My adrenals were completely shot.
Antioxidants - Helps to protect cells from free radicals.
DIM Detox - Aids estrogen metabolism in the body.
Note: These are what work for me—always check with your doctor before starting anything new!
Join Me on This Journey
I’m still figuring things out, still learning, and still practicing being kind to myself through it all. Some days are easier than others, but I know that taking care of myself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.
If you’re on this journey too, you’re not alone. I’d love for you to join me and follow along as I share what’s working (and what’s not).

Holy Sh*t, I Have Type 2 Diabetes?!? WTF?!?
When my doctor told me I had Type 2 diabetes, my first thought was: How the hell did this happen?
I’ve always thought of myself as a pretty damn healthy person. Sure, life had been hectic since having kids, but still—I worked out, I ate pretty well (most of the time), so what went wrong? What did I do wrong?

My Journey to Getting Healthy After Kids
Being a mom is hard—physically, emotionally, mentally. But for me, the hardest part wasn’t just the sleepless nights, the endless diaper changes, or the constant worry. It was losing myself.
